Pat Travers Band to Headline 2014 Cocoa Village Mardi Gras
The Pat Travers Band will be headlining this year’s Cocoa Village Mardi Gras celebration on Saturday, February 22, 2014 in historic downtown Cocoa Village. Enjoy live Mardi Gras style entertainment, authentic Cajun style food and the New Orleans style atmosphere beginning at 5pm.
Thousands of beads will be thrown to spectators from the Mardi Gras style floats during the News 13 Parade of Floats beginning at 9:30pm. Tickets go on sale online and at advance ticket location throughout Brevard County beginning January 24th for $8.00 per person. Admission at the gate will be $12.00.
The Pat Travers Band is known for their classic hits such as “Boom, Boom, Out Go the Lights”, “Crash and Burn” and “Snortin’ Whiskey” as well as incredible remakes of “Red House”, “Black Betty” and “Green Eyed Lady”. There is an energy that is tangible, an enjoyment that is infectious with this band. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to see this great group.

Cocoa Village Mardi Gras is Almost Here
Cocoa Village Mardi Gras is almost here and we’re so excited we can hardly wait. Buy your tickets in advance at one of our many convenient locations and save $5/ticket. Each ticket purchase includes event admission, the News Channel 13 Parade of Floats and the Soul Rebels Brass Band concert on the main stage immediately following the Parade of Floats. We’ll have tons of food and drink vendors, live music on three stages plus roaming “New Orleans” style entertainment. The gates open at 5pm so come out early, eat drink and listen to some great music. Then get your spot to catch some beads during the News Channel 13 Parade of Floats at 9pm. We’ll have over 30 floats with float riders throwing thousands of beads, doubloons, stuffed animals and more.
